On Wednesday, Feb. 25th, a Proclamation was held to launch LISD’s Read Across America Week!!!!
Our Top AR Students along with their parents, enjoyed a presentation by the Laredo Public Library as well as the Ryan Choir. A special visit by Author Kat Kronenberg delighted students with an interactive read aloud of her book - “Dream Big.”
Students were gifted Kat’s book, a Star plushie, and other goodies.
Celebrating Literacy is encouraging “today’s readers to become tomorrow’s leaders!”
