Dear Eagle Students and Families, Welcome to a brand new school year at Memorial Middle School! I look forward to meeting you and hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer break. We are thrilled to welcome our returning students and especially excited to greet our new students who are joining our Eagle family for the first time. As your principal, I want you to know how much we value each and every one of you. Middle school is a time of great growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—and we are committed to making sure that every student feels safe, supported, and inspired to do their best. This year, our LISD theme is Level Up: Empower, Evolve, Excel. Our amazing staff has been working hard over the summer to prepare a welcoming, challenging, and fun learning environment. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or through our clubs and activities, we encourage all students to get involved and make the most of their time here. Some important reminders: *Student Schedule Pick Up Dates at Gym from 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Aug. 4th/8th Graders. Aug. 5th/7th Graders. Aug. 7th/6th Graders Aug. 11th-12th/New Students *6th Grade Orientation @ Gym: Friday, August 8th at 9:30 a.m. *First Day of School: August 11. 2025 *School Hours and Drop Off/Pick Up Areas: 7:55 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Gym on Marcella for 8th Grade/ Basement Parking on Lane for 6th and 7th Grade Clear Backpack and Dress Code: Available on our website or in the school office. *Meet the Teacher Night: Thursday, April 21st at school gym from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Communication between school and home is essential. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and check our school website regularly for updates, calendars, and resources. Never hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns—we’re here to partner with you every step of the way. Let’s make this school year the best one yet!
